(LAS VEGAS, NV)¾ ICESOFT announced today that the Company will begin offering its MINT 2004 product line and services through a dealer based channel effective immediately. In an effort to significantly enhance its market coverage, the new reseller based sales channel will compliment the Company’s existing direct sales force. The Company has started accepting applications from resellers interested in selling the MINT 2004 product line; the reseller sales channel includes a formal training program.
“Even though we receive several requests each week from businesses wishing to resell our products and services, we have always resisted opening up a reseller channel for strategic business reasons.” stated Charles Farr, CEO of ICESOFT. “Our primary concerns were that a reseller channel would conflict with our existing direct sales force and that the quality of representation of our products in the marketplace would be compromised. Further concerns with protecting and building our recurring revenue stream also added to our hesitance to open a reseller channel. However, we have now spent considerable time and effort to develop a dealer program that we feel sufficiently addresses these concerns and will allow our new partners to offer their customers the most robust products on the market today. Our initial focus with the reseller channel will be on geographic areas where we do not currently have strong direct sales coverage. By executing this initiative properly, we will afford ICESOFT with an excellent opportunity to leverage our market- leading line of retail automation products and services, as well as to significantly expand our customer base for our recurring revenue initiatives.” |
